I still think of Bailey and every day I pray she is improving.
I did some googling, it seems that other greyhounds have also had cramping in the necks and is more of a greyhound specific problem. (I am pretty sure there is no breed with a longer more muscular neck than the greyhound)
My husband takes calcium supplements to help with his muscle cramps. Maybe ask your vet if that would work with hounds too? Also, I have heard of harnesses specially made for greyhounds with a variety of special physical needs. Maybe a harness would help prevent cramps that a collar might trigger?
I know it can be frusturating trying to figure out any causes/triggers. I have a hound with epilepsy and I am forever hoping to find a causes/triggers hoping I can eradicate it. It's totally not fun to watch them suffer, even if only for a few minutes at a time.
